Video Format

The videos are narrated, creating an experience similar to in-person sessions. Instead of focusing on the instructor, the lessons use graphics and animations to explain the material.

• A test prep book is included, which you should use alongside the videos.
• Many videos have pause points for you to work through problems or answer questions. When you resume, the solution is explained step-by-step to help you understand any mistakes.
• You’ll also have the email address of the section instructor and the proctor/committee for any additional questions.

Check for Understanding

After each video lesson, you’ll answer 5-10 test-like questions to confirm your understanding. Answers and explanations are provided for any incorrect responses.

Final Exam

The course ends with an 80-question final exam, randomly generated from a 400-question bank. You can retake it multiple times with different questions each time.

• Passing Requirement: 80% correct answers are needed to complete the course.

Completion and Endorsement

Upon passing the course, you’ll receive:

• A Certificate of Completion
• An endorsement (via email, mail, and a logbook sticker) to take the written test.
• The endorsement is valid for 60 days.

Course Access

• You’ll have access to the course material for 6 months.
• If you pass the course within this time, your access is extended to 1 year from the enrollment date.
• The extended access helps you prepare for the oral portion of the flight test after passing the written exam.
