The P.B. “Slim” Rawley Crew Award, established in 2000 to honor the memory of dedicated AAAA member and volunteer P.B. “Slim” Rawley, who passed away in 1999, recognizes an AAAA member who serves as a balloon crew member and has made significant contributions of time and effort to the operation of the club and the ballooning community. The recipient must also have actively participated on at least one standing committee or made meaningful contributions to improving relations between the ballooning community and the public.
