Board of Directors & Committees

The Albuquerque Aerostat Ascension Association (AAAA) is powered by seven dynamic board committees, including the Board of Directors, and a network of subcommittees that drive the organization’s key functions. These committees ensure that every aspect of AAAA’s operations, from event planning and member engagement to safety protocols and community outreach, runs smoothly and effectively.

The Board of Directors serves as the organization’s leadership and decision-making body. It sets AAAA’s strategic direction, oversees financial health, and ensures the club’s mission to promote hot-air ballooning through education and community is achieved. Working closely with the sub-committees, the board helps coordinate events, educational programs, and fundraising initiatives, maintaining AAAA’s reputation as the world’s largest community of hot-air ballooning enthusiasts.
