Organization Organizing the Event: IOE Memorial Fund
Name, Description and Benefitting Group of the Event: IOE Memorial Fund is in memory of 3 children who were murdered. In their honor they are providing full scholarships to play baseball (Little League or Club Ball), or financial assistance for college.
Desired Participation from Balloonist: We are looking for a balloon ride for 2 to be donated for the raffle for the 1stAnnual Golf Tournament
Date and Time of Event: Saturday, Sept 14th, 2019 @ 5am
Organization Organizing the Event: Sandia Crest Marathon
Name, Description and Benefitting Group of the Event: Half of our marathon and half marathon participants are from out of state so we were hoping to have balloons at the start and possibly the finish line of the marathon. We are hoping to show both New Mexicans and out of towners how amazing Albuquerque is.
Date and Time of Event: Our fund-raising event; “Night for Sight” is Aug 9th at the Sandia Resort.
Organization Organizing the Event: Our 501 (c)(3): The Juliette RP Vision Foundation
Name, Description and Benefitting Group of the Event: The Juliette RP Vision Foundation. Our mission is twofold:
1. Provide higher education scholarships for visually impaired students.
2. Provide research grants to young scientists (MD/OD/PhD) who are conducting Retinitis Pigmentosa research or retina related eye disease research.
This year we have awarded 10 college scholarships and 2 research grants.
Desired Participation from Balloonist: We are requesting donation of a balloon ride as an item for our silent auction. The Balloonist can set the parameters of the ride to include but not limited to date, length of ride, number of people, etc.
The Santa Fe Village Neighborhood Association located near the Taylor Ranch Library in Albuquerque. Is requesting a free hot air balloon ride for two as their grand prize as a donation for the annual National Night Out across the United States. This is a family friendly event to promote safety within our neighborhoods. We will have fire and police personnel present, games for all ages, a pot luck/covered dish to name a few of our plans. This even will be held August 6th.
