Rio Rancho Public Schools would like to advise the Albuquerque metro ballooning community that we will open our schools to launches and landings during the weekend of October 3-4, or what would have been the first weekend of Balloon Fiesta. Our families and the Rio Rancho community enjoy the lift to our spirits that balloons provide throughout the year and would welcome balloonists who would like to fly from our school campuses and neighborhoods. In deference to the current health emergency, we do not want to attract crowds and will not publicize launches at any of the sites.
